the basic information for anyone looking to file for unemployment in

passage of the CARES Act many artists, creative economy workers, and
gig workers are now eligible for benefits to compensate for economic
impacts from COVID-19. Primarily, individuals who are self-employed
and independent contractors have the ability to file for Pandemic

<p><span style="font-weight:400;">If you are filing a new
unemployment insurance claim, the day you should file is based on the
first letter of your last name.</span></p>

with A – F</strong></li>
<li style="font-weight:400;"><strong>Tuesday: For last names starting
with G – N</strong></li>
