Please join Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte, representing the 42nd Assembly District, at her First Annual State of the District 2016 address on Thursday, February 11 at Brooklyn College's campus.   Assemblymember Bichotte will address her progress on topics including education, housing, ethics reform, and economic development in the 42nd Assembly District as well as State's agenda and the proposed budget and how it affects our community.  The State of the District address presents a wonderful opportunity to report on the status of the affairs of the district and the people of the State of New York.  When: Thursday February 11, 2016 @ 6PM Where: Brooklyn College Student Center (SUBO) located on Campus Road and East 27th street

   ###   Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte represents the 42nd Assembly District in the New York State Assembly representing Brooklyn communities of Ditmas Park, Flatbush, East Flatbush and Midwood. She is currently the Chair of the Subcommittee on Oversight of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs), and serves on the following committees: Housing, Government Operations, Economic Development, Small Businesses, Banks and Social Services. She is also the Vice Chair of the NYS Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators.    As the current Assemblymember and District Leader, Rodneyse Bichotte has been outspoken advocate on issues concerning immigration, unemployment, education reform, health care access, senior citizen centers, affordable housing, women's and LGBTQ rights, as well as other issues affecting the quality of life in the community.
