** DEAR NEIGHBOR
------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday I attended the funeral for NYPD Office Brian Moore, who lost the fight for his life Monday afternoon after being shot in Queens. My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the family and friends of Officer Moore and the entire force, who have to deal with this extremely painful loss. It's my hope that this tragedy is a turning point for our city in how we deal with gun violence in our communities.
